1.Small turbine engine rotor

The rotor of a small turbine engine (used in unmanned aerial vehicles, trainer aircraft, and light aircraft) has a rotational speed of 30,000 to 100,000 r/min, and its blades are mostly made of nickel-based superalloys or titanium alloys.Requirement: G2For those above 5, it is recommended to perform balance in the vacuum chamber to avoid air damping interference with the measurement.Fuman Machinery Laser machine balancing Machine & Precise unbalance correction can be carried out under vacuum.

2.Aviation starting generator View the detailed plan →

The aviation starting generator operates under both ground starting and high-altitude power generation conditions, with a wide speed range (the highest at the moment of starting).Aviation-grade motors require AS9100 quality system certification, and the balancing process needs to be documented and traceable.

3.Gyroscope rotor

The gyroscope rotor is the core component of the inertial navigation system, with a rotational speed of 10,000-30,000 r/min. A large residual unbalance amount can cause gyroscope drift, directly affecting the navigation accuracy.Suggestion: G04-G1.It has a precision grade of 0 and measures under a constant temperature environment.

4.Fuel pump impeller

The working speed of the impeller of the aviation fuel pump is 6000- 24,000 r/min. The viscosity of the medium varies greatly, and the geometric accuracy of the impeller directly affects the fuel supply accuracy. It is recommended to conduct precise balancing and multi-speed verification after assembly.

5.Auxiliary power unit (APU) rotor

APU rotors typically operate at speeds ranging from 10,000 to 37,000 r/min, and their working environments are harsh (high temperatures, high vibrations, and high loads).Requirement: G2More than 5 pieces of balanced data are archived and filed, and the archiving period is usually over 10 years.

6.Unmanned aerial vehicle high-speed motor

The driving motor of the unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) has a rotational speed of 10,000 to 30,000 r/min, is compact in size and has a high power density. It is recommended to perform rough balancing after the magnetic steel assembly and fine balancing after winding, and keep a complete process record.

7.Missile rudder drive motor

The rotational speed of the servo motor is 5,000 to 20,000 r/min. Although the working time is short, it is always related to flight safety each time.It is recommended to use G2Grade 5 and 100% full inspection, with data archived item by item.

8.Helicopter tail shaft/rotor hub

The tail shaft and rotor hub of a helicopter are large aviation components, each weighing 50 to 300 kilograms. It is recommended to balance separately at each stage of the manufacturing process and conduct a recheck of the overall machine balance after assembly.

9.Measurement of moment of inertia/Center of Mass of Aerospace payloads

Before the launch of space payloads, the moment of inertia and the position of the center of mass need to be precisely measured. Residual imbalance will change the flight attitude. It is recommended to use dedicated aviation-grade measuring equipment.

10.Gas turbine disc parts

Gas turbine disc parts (such as turbine discs and compressor discs) are high-value single pieces in aviation. It is recommended to file balance data for each piece and use a vibration testing machine to verify their dynamic characteristics.
